3D Measuring - ISO 294-4

Intertek accurately measures the dimensions of plastic and polymeric articles by using a 3-D ISO 294 - 4 measuring device. The accuracy depends on the size of the article, but will be around 4 µm. A typical application for this technique is the combination with injection moulding to determine the so called mold shrinkage. This method is based on ISO 294-4.
